Pre-Moving Checklist:
Today all our belongings were packed and are now stored in a container here in Malta. Everything, except what is to be packed in our suitcases. We don’t know when the container will be shipped to Cyprus, first we have to find where on the island we are going to live…

Oh… no, we are not that brave. 😂 We have rented a house by the sea in Neo Chorio, close to Latchi in the Paphos area. What I meant was that we do not know where we will settle. Thanks for your concern Mike 😊

Ah, yes, I see. I should have realised as we are now in the same position. (Post to come, but….) We are moving back to the UK and have found a place to rent (by the sea 😊). We will then look for a more permanent residence (not sure where yet either). So we are about a month or so behind you.

You are moving back to the UK!!! That was a big suprise Mike! I don’t know for how long you have been living in Switzerland but you have shared a lot of amazing images from this beautiful country. So yes, we are almost in the same position with the difference that we are moving to a country that we don’t know so much about. But still, you are moving back but not to where you once lived and it’s at least as exciting and adventurous as moving to a new country 😁 Wish you good luck!!!! …and I look forward to following your posts in the future as well 😊 Tonight I have to turn off my computer until we get to our rented house in Cyprus…

Yes we’ve been thinking of moving back for some time, but sort of been stuck due to COVID, unable to get back to find anywhere to live. When we were in N. Wales we heard about a place coming up for rent and went round to view it and got it. I very sneakily included a photo of it in my post here: https://alittlebitoutoffocus.com/2021/06/23/ynys-north-wales-part-2/#jp-carousel-28076 It overlooks the estuary also featured in that post. It’s handy for the beaches and mountains, so perfect for continuing my blog – though less butterflies I’m afraid! I hope your move goes well and you enjoy Cyprus even more than Malta. (I had a cousin who used to live there, but I’ve never been). Good luck!

Ni har ingen bostad när ni kommer fram? Det låter äventyrligt. Håller tummarna hårt att allt går smidigt och utan problem.

Blev visst lite fel där, så äventyrliga är vi inte med två hundar och massor med bagage 😅 Vi har hyrt ett hus som vi ska bo i tills vi hittar vårt permanenta boende. Tack för dina rader Kristallina.

Jag reagerade precis som flera av dina läsare, men mindes ju din kommentar samt att du förklarade situationen här. Tycker ni är rätt modiga ändå efter så många år på Malta, och jag hoppas verkligen att ni kommer att trivas på Cypern.

Vackra färger som man blir glad av. Har väldigt lite färg innomhus endast en röd skinnsoffa. Övrigt är vitt, grått och svart.
Tre dagar går fort och hoppas allt går bra.

I love the colourful photo’s … puts me in an instant good mood! I presume you’re now in Cyprus – would love to see how it looks … only stopped at the airport on our way to Malta and always wandered what Cyprus is like?

Thank you Corna (& Berto?) Yes, we are in Cyprus now, it’s great but very hot due to a heat wave. Almost 40 degrees and I haven’t had much time to take any photos yet but as soon as we have settled and the temperature goes down I hope I’ll get more time with my camera and my blogg. Take care!!
