I’m really not used to converting images to black and white so this is a really fun and exciting challenge. I could not resist put in a little bit of color in each image, but it’s so tiny that it’s barely noticeable, or……perhaps too much noticeable. Anyway, this is my post to this week’s fun black and white photo challenge. Click the link below to see more b/w images.
I love color, need color and can`t live without color around me, but I also like challenges.
That`s why I take part in Cee’s Black & White Photo Challenge and this week the topic is Weather. This was a beautiful day last spring here in Malta. As always this time of year, there were lots of yellow and reddish flowers among all greenery. In black and white, it looks very different. Our terrace on the 6th floor a rainy day in October.Sunset with storm clouds.Sunshine, warmth and enjoyment by the Mediterranean Sea in July 32+.
Same pictures from yesterday, now in color instead of b/w. Some images can improve if you select b/w, while others don’t. It also depends on you skills, mine are quite limited. This looks almost the same. It was a grey day and not much color, but still different from the one yesterday. In my opinion this one is much better in color. Color means joy which is enhanced by the woman’s smile. This picture looks completely different in color. It was taken in California year 2014 and I never used it and then forgot it. Here we did a stop along the Pacific Coast Highway where the views are amazing.
This is a spiral staircase inside a very old mill completely made of stone in a small town in Malta. This image was taken inside a train in Singapore. This photo is not exactly the same as the one above. Just a small difference in light and contrast but I know that even a small difference can mean a lot and that’s
what I’ll try to learn in Cee’s weekly Black & White Photo Challenge.
