Lens-Artists Photo Challenge – Juxtaposition

Stone and steel surrendering differently to time.
Two materials. One inevitable change.

Juxtaposition is often described as contrast, light against dark, large beside small.
For me, it is about what happens when different elements share the same space.
Not in opposition, but in quiet relation.
In these seven images, scale, presence, time, and decay stand side by side.

An aging mailbox and a modern request.
Communication meets corrosion.

Two footprints in the sand.
Same ground. Different journeys.

Stillness held within delicate branches.
The eternal framed by the fragile.

Black on white.
Form revealed through contrast.

A small life under weathered stone. A passing man nearly disappears.
Proportion changes everything.

Where one form withers, another thrives.
Nature holds both at once.

For the Lens-Artists challenge, this week hosted by Patti.
