Anita's Images

Hello! I’m Anita.
Welcome to my site.
My blog is a way to share my photos with others who, like me, enjoy photography. I’m not a photographer; I just take pictures simply because it brings joy and preserves many memories.
Enjoys being in nature and is fortunate to have my lovely Basenji dogs, Fanny and Felicia, as faithful companions during my photographic explorations and adventures.
Born in 1959 in Stockholm, Sweden, I moved to Malta in 2000 and have been living in Cyprus permanently since July 2021. I would be more than happy if you would like to follow me through my photos, most of which are taken from my everyday life and surroundings here in Paphos.
All photos are taken by me, © unless otherwise stated.
My Life’s journey in a Nutshell:
Before I met my husband Lars, I worked as a dental nurse. When we got married in the early ’90s, I quit my job and we created our own company where we started selling tailor-made trips for scuba divers to Egypt. Then, we still lived in Stockholm, Sweden. In 2000, we moved to Malta and our company did well throughout the years. We expanded our destinations to Asia and started selling trips to non-divers as well. Just before the pandemic in 2019, we decided to shut down as we felt we had done our part. Now we were free and began planning our move from Malta. However, at that point, we didn’t really know where to go. Today we live in Cyprus, but I guess that this Mediterranean island is not our last stop in life’s journey.
