Chasing a Butterfly

A white butterfly fluttered through a patch of purple wildflowers, never staying still for more than a second.
I tried to capture it with my camera and succeeded a few times, while in others, only the blur of its wings remained.

A flash of white among the wildflowers was all I had to follow.

Now you see me… now you don’t.

Sometimes the chase is just as rewarding as the photograph itself.

Chasing butterflies is fun, especially when you are able to capture a good shot of them. These are beautiful.

I only liked chasing them if I captured a decent shot in the end, otherwise it was extremely frustrating! So well done for sticking to your task and getting those photos. 👍👍😊

A good outcome for a butterfly chase Anita. The flowers look like a Salvia? The last photo did make the chase worthwhile
