Over the past few months, I’ve been lucky enough to photograph a variety of butterflies here in Cyprus.
Some are common, others less so, but each one has its own unique beauty.

From bright yellows to warm oranges and soft whites, each butterfly has its own unique colours, patterns and character. Here are a few of my favourites.
Looking at these photographs afterwards, I realised that almost every butterfly is facing the same direction.
I certainly didn’t plan that – it just happened!

Butterflies aren’t the only visitors to Cyprus’ colourful wildflowers.
