This time I was lucky to have my small camera with me, with the macro setup I usually carry, I would never have been able to zoom in on this remarkable little acrobat. Here are a few of the photos I managed to capture as it balanced high against the sky.

Very slowly, very carefully, it made its way down the branch, one step at a time.


Occasionally it stopped and seemed to look right into the camera.

The Mediterranean Chameleon is not often seen here in Cyprus, as it spends most of its time hidden.
So I feel lucky to have crossed paths with two this summer.
