I mentioned it before, I like trees, especially the old ones but also those that seem to have something to say, even though they can not speak. It’s all about character, it’s about charisma. Some stand alone, others are crowded with each other. I prefer to take pictures of lonely trees.

The pictures of the tree above do not show what the tree I photographed looked like in reality. It’s the same tree with different effects. It’s really fun to play and find different ways to redo an image where the motif is still in the center, it also became quite colorful, which I like.

This type of editing is challenging but I can’t make effects like these in Lightroom and I don’t use Photoshop.
I have an old Paint Shop Pro 8 editing software that I rarely use nowadays, from now on I will probably use it more often…


Although the real is usually most beautiful, a transformation can emphasize the beauty even more, as with this very old olive tree. That’s what I see, while you may perceive the image differently. It’s always up to the person looking at an image to decide, we are all different, fortunately.
