I haven’t posted here as often lately—partly because I’m taking part in a photo challenge on my Swedish blog, and partly because I’m still finding my way around some layout updates here. But this space is close to my heart, and I’m working on making it feel more like home again. So, here we are—with a few newly captured images and the simple joy of sharing again. No surprise, macro shots…

Every day, I see this vibrant red dragonfly dancing around our fish pond, always the same one, I believe. Earlier this year, a shimmering blue dragonfly visited too, just once. I still hope it returns.
With wings that beat up to 30 times per second, the dragonfly is a marvel of precision flight. These ancient insects—dating back over 300 million years—are skilled hunters and important indicators of healthy freshwater ecosystems.

Hovering around our fish pond, this dragonfly reminds us of the calm balance of nature and the timeless wonder that surrounds us — if only we pause long enough to notice.
