Shades of Purple — Spring in Cyprus

Spring in Cyprus means nature becomes dressed in colour.
Right now, all kinds of wildflowers are appearing everywhere.

Fortunately, there is still time to enjoy it before the summer heat arrives.
This spring has been much cooler, windier, and wetter than usual, so it’s worth enjoying it while it lasts.

I don’t usually name the flowers I photograph; others do that far better than I do.
I prefer to focus on what I see.

But I believe the plant below is a tassel hyacinth,
the same as in the first image in the gallery, shown here in different stages.
