This little creature may not win any beauty contests, but that’s not really the point. One of the things I enjoy most about macro photography is discovering the tiny world that usually goes unnoticed.
This parasitic wasp caught my attention, but when I looked through the photos later, I discovered something even more interesting — every frame contains one or two tiny insects hiding in plain sight. Can you spot them?
Nature always rewards a closer look.
I couldn’t agree more… You always find something fascinating when you zoom in on a macro picture. Great photos again Anita. 👍👍🥰
Thank you so much, Mike. I’m really glad you enjoyed the photos. There’s always something fascinating to discover when you look closely. Nature never disappoints. 😁
These are amazing macros, Anita. 👍🏽
A great reminder that beauty isn’t always obvious at first glance. Macro photography really does open up a hidden world, and it’s fascinating how even something like a parasitic wasp can reveal unexpected details when you take a closer look. It’s those unnoticed moments that often become the most interesting discoveries.
So much beautifull 👌
Thank you, Neeraj. So happy you found it beautiful. 🙏✨
Are the tiny insects Bees? The wasp has a great ovipositor
Thanks, Brian! I’m not sure about the tiny ones, maybe tiny bees, maybe something else. 🦟 But the wasp’s ovipositor definitely steals the show.😁😂
Wow, is that an ant or tiny spider? Either way that’s a beautiful wasp. 🤣😎🙃
Thanks, Mr. Ohh. It really does look like a tiny mix of everything. 🐜😁 I think it’s some kind of parasitic wasp, but I’m not entirely sure. 😄
Yes- I see them. However, the stinger on that wasp grabbed my attention more. Yikes!
Thanks, Sue. Happy you noticed the tiny details. And yes… that stinger is something else.
Stort tack för dina rader Kristallina!🤗
