While browsing through my archives, I came across these photographs from Malta Air Shows held in 2013 and 2014.
After living in Malta for 21 years before moving to Cyprus in 2021, these photographs aren’t among my strongest memories from those years. Still, they brought me back to memorable days of colourful flying displays and enthusiastic spectators.
The atmosphere, the noise and all eyes turned towards the sky were all part of what made these air shows so special.
Some spectators watched in awe. Others were more concerned about the decibel level.
Most of the images I share here nowadays are of nature and wildlife,
so I hope these photographs from my Malta archives provide a pleasant change of pace.
