This week’s Lens-Artists challenge, hosted by Beth, is to find subjects that start with the letter B.
The rhinoceros beetle above seemed the perfect choice for my opening image.
A powerful little creature to begin my journey through the letter B.

Banded Orb-weaver – Balance
At first I only saw Balance. Later I learned that this beautiful spider is called a Banded Orb-weaver.
Two B’s in one photograph.

Blue Flower – Back
Most flower photographs are taken from the front.
This time I turned my camera around and discovered that the back could be just as beautiful.

Bumblebee
Bumblebees rarely pose for portraits. They are usually far too busy searching for their next flower.

Blossom & Buds
The beautiful caper flower shares the branch with its unopened buds – better known as capers.

Butterfly & Bindweed
Another unexpected pair of B’s – a butterfly enjoying the delicate flowers of bindweed on a warm summer day.
