From My Archive #9 – Then and Now

A summer memory from Malta and the Marsovin Wine Festival in 2017.

Time has a way of slipping by.

The version above is my edit from 2017, using the tools I had at the time. Below is a recent AI interpretation of the same photograph. Technology has evolved, providing new ways to revisit memories.
If I still had the original file, I wonder how I would edit it today.

Both images tell the same story, but in very different ways.
Which version do you prefer – my original edit from 2017, or the new AI interpretation?

I think I like the ghostly image better, but both are very nice.

Thanks a lot for your comment, Mike. Happy you liked them both, the ghostly edit really does add a different mood.

I love the creative take of the new edit. It looks like a double exposure.

Thank you, Egídio. I’m glad you liked it. The AI edit does give it that double‑exposure feel. A pity I can’t find my original 2017 files, time slips past, and sometimes old archives slip with it.

I like them both but there’s something magical about the new edit. It is so nice to have tools to add to the creative arsenal.
