Last May, I photographed this beautiful little butterfly here in Cyprus.
Despite its small size, its bright copper-orange wings are hard to miss.

I first shared a single photograph of this beauty back in June.
Thanks to Brian, I learned that it was a Small Copper (Lycaena phlaeas)
I never tire of photographing butterflies and often come home with far more photographs than I intended.
The real challenge comes later, when I have to choose between dozens of images that all look almost the same.

There is no end to nature’s little wonders.
