Over the years, my photography has taken me in many different directions. I’ve chose five images that are special to me for very different reasons, some because of the moment, some because of the memories, and some simply because I still like them.

A Splash of Colour
A photo taken in Malta in 2013. Perhaps it’s the bold colours, the contrast between the hard-painted surface and the soft blue sea, or simply the feeling it gives me. I’m not quite sure why, but this image has stayed with me through the years.

A walk By the Sea
One of my very first, taken in 2011 when I was living in Malta. I walked the Tower Road seafront promenade countless times, taking so many photos along the way. I can’t explain why, but this one has always felt special to me. I’m simply glad it’s still with me.

A Very Close Encounter
This dragonfly landed on my finger and stayed there long enough for me to take a few pictures.
Not something that happens every day!

A Familiar Place
For many years, Tony’s Bar in Sliema, Malta, was a favourite place to sit and watch the world go by.
It wasn’t always the people that caught my eye — it could also be a beautifully worn old car.

Forever in My Heart
Fanny was my first dog ever, and a long-awaited one at that. She came into our family in 2017.
Sadly, we lost her a little over two years ago, but this photo has become one of those special memories I treasure.
🐾📸🐾📸🐾📸🐾
Looking back through my old photos, I noticed how my way of seeing has changed over the years, and how my choice of subjects has changed with it. Today I’m drawn mostly to nature, perhaps influenced by life with my dogs and the place I now call home.
