This little chameleon had somewhere to go — and apparently, going up was the way to get there.
Look closely, and you’ll spot its eye, almost perfectly camouflaged among the patterns.
Slowly but steadily, the climb began. .
One foot at a time… keeping one eye on what’s behind.
It was quite impressive to watch how easily those little feet found their grip
I never found out why it went in there, but I decided it was time to leave it to its journey.
I never wanted to disturb it, so I kept my distance and simply watched what happened through my camera.
Luckily, I had my small Panasonic Lumix with me, which has a good zoom, so I could photograph it from a distance.
That wouldn’t have been possible with my macro lens!
Even the dogs kept their distance, so the little chameleon could continue on its way undisturbed.
