Misty Morning – Before the Heat Arrives

Still, our morning walks here in Koili have to start early, before the Cypriot sun turns the day into an oven.
This morning was a bit different as we were greeted by a landscape wrapped in soft mist.

🐕 Somewhere beyond the mist, our path was waiting.🐕

A little detail along our way — much bigger through my lens!

One of many eight-legged locals we came across on our walk.

And on the way back, I finally discovered the missing companion to the worn boot I’ve seen lying here for years.
You can meet its other half here.

Such a warm and peaceful atmosphere! The macro photos are absolutely superb, the details captured through the lens completely transform these tiny creatures. I am intrigued by the funny story of the boots. I wonder in what context they were separated? 🥾

Thank you so much, Aura! 😊 And the boots are a mystery to me too! 😂 I’ve been seeing one of them lying there for years, so finding its partner was quite a surprise. If only those boots could tell us their story! 🥾

I hear you loud and clear about the heat. I had to stop several times on my bike ride this morning, not because of the heat itself, but it was the humidity. I was feeling oppressed. Your images are beautiful, and I especially like the ant. It looks huge!

I know what you mean about the humidity, it can make the heat feel so much worse! Luckily, we got our walk in early that morning. And yes, that little ant looked huge through my lens! Thanks a lot for your comment, Egídio.
